Built for the Brew, Inspired by the Community
What started as a small fix became a catalyst for something more.
The stock plastic lever on the Hario Switch didn’t hold up over time—warping, melting, discoloring, or breaking. Like many others, I was searching for a lever that felt more durable, reliable, and satisfying to use.
Community-Driven by Design
This wasn’t just about solving a personal problem.
Conversations on r/pourover, shared frustrations, and generous encouragement from the community became the real catalyst behind GoodSwitch. People started asking for updates, offering suggestions, and showing interest—transforming a personal experiment into a product worth sharing.
Engineered for Quality
Getting it right meant refusing to cut corners. After several rounds of prototyping, material testing, and iteration—including aerospace-grade 3D scans—the final design emerged. Crafted from stainless steel with a form that naturally reduces brew retention, it’s a focused solution built to perform, feel great in hand, and last.
Made in Small Batches, with Intention
GoodSwitch isn’t mass-produced or outsourced at scale.
It’s made in small batches with care and precision, for those who value thoughtful design, consistent performance, and the kind of details that elevate a daily ritual into something more.
Thanks for Being Part of It
I’m truly grateful for everyone who helped shape this project and their support. GoodSwitch exists because of community curiosity, high standards, and a shared love of great coffee—brought to life through uncompromising craftsmanship.
